Ángel M. López, psychologist in Pamplona

I am a licensed psychologist (registration no. N-02092, Official College of Psychology of Navarre) and I see clients in Pamplona, in person and online. I support people going through crises, grief, trauma or emotional blocks, with integrative psychotherapy and, when it fits, with past-life regression.

My background

Before turning to psychology I worked for more than twenty years in people leadership at multinational companies, in more than twenty countries. That stage taught me a lot about how pressure, change and loss of meaning are experienced at work and in life.

I hold degrees in Law (University of Navarre) and in Psychology, and a master’s degree in General Health Psychology (University of Navarre). I also hold an MBA from the University of Houston and a doctorate (DBA) from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, with research on the meaning of life. I have worked in psychology since 2016.

How I work

I do not apply a standard method. I work from an integrative, third-wave psychology, adapted to each person, combining cognitive, emotional and experiential work. I draw on Carl Jung’s depth psychology and on parts-based models such as Internal Family Systems to understand how trauma and attachment are recorded outside awareness, and how that experience can be integrated. My focus is on helping you understand what is happening to you, make sense of it and transform it from within, from a broader view of yourself that includes body, mind, emotion and spiritual dimension.

Past-life regression (QHHT and Past-Life Therapy) is one more tool for reaching that inner world, which I offer to those who seek it, always after a preliminary conversation to assess whether it is suitable. It complements psychology and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment when that is needed.

What you can expect

A safe, confidential and unhurried space. The first conversation is free, lasts about 30 minutes and is a chance to get to know each other and decide together whether it makes sense to work together.

I am also
